FRIDAY NIGHT DOG BLOG: ALWAYS ON MY MIND

Life can be precarious and precious for Sasha and Dexter as it is for the person closest to me.

Once anyone enters the Intensive Care Unit, the priority is to come out alive. Some damage cannot be reversed. There are no guarantees.  I am reliving the experience now of twelve months ago. I did not expect this experience to reoccur. This time it seems the operation was successful, but Susan caught pneumonia. It will be important that Sasha and Dexter and any sadness will be intensified if something were to happen to them.

I am relying on photos taken some time ago. Dexter seems to be taking the lead.
